ACCESS
Assault Care Center Extending Shelter & Support
Provides 24 hour crisis response services for domestic violence, sexual abuse and other violent crimes. We offer one-on-one counseling, support groups, legal, medical and child welfare advocacy, legal advocacy, safety planning, emergency housing assistance and education in schools, workplaces, civic groups and faith communities.

CICS - Central Iowa Community Services
CICS supports individuals and strengthens communities by serving the unique needs of individuals with mental health and intellectual and other developmental disabilities. Crisis Services include: crisis observation, 24-hour crisis line, crisis evaluation, crisis stabilization, mental health commitments, mobile crisis response.

Crisis Childcare
Lutheran Services of Iowa
Our agency is able to place your child(ren) for up to 72 hours in a registered day care in home provider while the family deals with a crisis situation. To qualify families must be residents of Boone County, have a child age(s) 0-12, and be experiencing a crisis with no other options for support. This service cannot be used as back up child care and is free to families.

Iowa Concern Hotline
Iowa State University Extension and Outreach
Iowa Concern is a free hotline service available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Iowa Concern has access to an attorney for legal education, stress counselors, and information and referral services for a wide variety of topics.
